Proposal to Grant Lease – Tauranga Regional Free Kindergarten Association Incorporated

Pursuant to s(73)3 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Tauranga City Council proposes to grant a lease of land on Macville Park located at 50A Tui Street Mount Maunganui, to Tauranga Regional Free Kindergarten Association Incorporated trading as Inspired Kindergartens, for an initial term of thirteen years (13), with one (1) further renewal term of five (5) years, commencing 15 January 2026.  If the renewal period is exercised the final expiry date will be to 14th January 2044. The Inspired Kindergarten proposes to utilise this section of land for running of early childhood education classes and general kindergarten activities.

The lease area is comprised of approximately 883.8m2 and is contained in Record of Title 1086653 being described as Section 21 Block VII Tauranga Survey District and Part Lot 228 DPS 904 and Lot 67-68 DPS 11164 and Lot 43 DP 32961 and Section 2 SO Plan 576599. The Reserve is owned and administered by the Council as a Recreation Reserve and is subject to the Reserves Act 1977.
