Street Design Toolkit

The Street Design Guide sits alongside the IDC and provides a framework for the design of streets that encourages context specific solutions, based on relationships between the different demands of Link and Place

The Street Design Toolkit, consisting of the the Street Design Guide, Tool and Diagrams will be the first point of reference for anyone involved in the development of streets in Tauranga, whether developing greenfield land or upgrading existing streets. The Guide and Tool should be used by everyone involved in street design and provides a more flexible framework than what is currently in the IDC.
