Water shutdowns

Current water shutdowns.

From time to time it’s necessary to temporarily shut off parts of our water network to carry out annual water mains flushing, upgrades or emergency repairs.

Please note if this page is blank there are no current planned shutdowns.

Water shutdown - Ngatai Road, Charles Street, Margaret Road and Queen Road

Affected area:

Ngatai Road: 458 - 466 (evens only) and 457 - 467 (odds only)
Charles Street: 7 - 9 (odds only) and 4 - 12 (evens only)
Margaret Road: 66 - 68 (evens only) and 5 - 43 (odds only)
Queen Road: 31 - 69 (odds only), 70 - 80 (evens only) and 60

Armadillo is a Tauranga City Council approved contractor and will be isolating the water supply in your area between the hours shown above. All Armadillo Civil staff carry identification and can produce this if requested. Staff may need to enter your property to flush water from an outside tap to prevent dirty water entering your property.

Important: If a member of your household depends on water for critical medical support, please ensure you make alternative arrangements for the times stated above.

The shutdown times stated above are expected to be accurate. However sometimes circumstances beyond our control can cause the shutdown to extend beyond the times stated. We apologise should this occur.

If the water is cloudy, dirty, or discoloured after the shutdown, please run your outside tap for ten minutes to clear the line. If this does not resolve the issue, please do not hesitate to contact any of the phone numbers below:
