Good Neighbour Trust – supporting community food security
What the grant supported

Good Neighbour charity’s mission is to provide practical opportunities for people to connect with and support one another so that lives, neighbourhoods, and communities are transformed. They do this through five main arms of the charity, including Food Rescue, Community Gardens, Good Neighbour Kitchen, Neighbourhood Projects and Whānau Care. Good Neighbour has gone above and beyond its initial goals to support the community. With over 500 active volunteers helping, it’s a real community charity. The continued support from Tauranga City Council and the Community Grant Fund has enabled Good Neighbour to make further impact within the community, with the support for operating costs.
