Tauranga is a city that champions events and experiences that enhance vibrancy, connects communities, builds identity and delivers cultural, social and economic benefits for its people.
Council will contribute by
- developing and implementing a strategic approach towards significant and major events.
- developing and implementing of an Event Venues Network Plan.
- delivery of the Events Action and Investment Plan.
- Supporting the event industry and community via event facilitation and services.
- delivery of a strategic event funding programme.
