Tauranga’s Good Neighbour organisation received a vital boost to its operations with funding support towards a new food rescue truck as part of Tauranga City Council’s Resource Wise Community Fund.
Kerbside collections continue throughout the summer holiday period, but if your kerbside bins are usually collected on a Wednesday, Thursday or a Friday, your collection day will be one day later than usual for two weeks over the Christmas and New Year’s holidays
Since opening in Mount Maunganui earlier this year, we’re stoked at how the community has embraced Destination skatepark with hundreds of users from all walks (and wheels) of life using the skatepark daily.
Testing of the new road surface at major intersections along Cameron Road will be underway at night from Sunday, 14 July, to Thursday, 18 July, from 10pm to 6am.

From 1 July 2024 it will cost less to use the parking buildings in Tauranga city centre, making them a more affordable and convenient parking option.
