Funders in the Western Bay of Plenty have come together to establish a new Rapid Response Fund to support community groups who are experiencing increased demand and/or funding shortfall as a result of COVID-19.

Waste service providers throughout the city continue to work hard to keep services going during these unprecedented times.

From today, council rubbish bags will temporarily be plain black bags with the standard pink sticker. They will no longer have the usual printed white writing.
