Tauranga City Council is proposing some amendments to our Dangerous, Affected and Insanitary Buildings Policy.
On 10 February 2025, Council resolved to adopt the Alcohol Control Bylaw 2018 Amendment, which will come into effect on 24 February 2025.
The nomination period to fill the extraordinary vacancy for Council’s Te Awanui Māori Ward has now closed.
At its meeting on 3 March 2025, the council resolved to approve Private Plan Change 39 (Upper Ohauiti Land Rezoning) to the Tauranga City Plan pursuant to clause 17(1) of Schedule 1 of the Resource Management Act (RMA).
The proposed lease will permit Bayfair Foodbank Garden to grow fruit and vegetables to be used to benefit the community.
