Drivers are being urged to slow down to keep Tauranga Eastern Link Toll Road work site safe. To keep drivers and construction staff safe, speed through the Pāpāmoa East Interchange construction site on the Tauranga Eastern Link Toll Road has been reduced from 70km/h to 50km/h from the beginning of this week. The site will be monitored closely in collaboration with Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency. Once drivers keep to the limit, raising the speed to 70km/h will become an option again. The new lower speed is expected to have a minor effect on travel times.
