Turret Road and Hairini Causeway Roading Improvements

Council is investing in Tauranga’s roads to improve safety and performance for all road users.

As part of Council's Minor Safety Works programme, maintenance and repair work is set to begin on along Turret Road and the Hairini Causeway.

This will require Fifteenth Avenue and Turret Road (from Burrows Street to and including Turret Road Bridge) to be under stop/go traffic management from 7pm Sunday 2 October.

Night works will take place between 7pm - 6am, Sunday to Thursday and are estimated to be completed in early November, weather dependent.

Work includes road resurfacing, replacing damaged footpaths, bridge repairs, tree pruning, and the installation of safety separators along the Hairini Causeway cycleway.

Motorists should expect delays and use an alternative route if possible.

Council apologises for any inconvenience this work may cause and thanks the community for their patience during this time.
