Boil water notices

A boil water notice can be issued when bacteria is found in drinking water, or there is the potential for bacteria to be present in drinking water.

During this time consumers need to boil all tap water before drinking, using it for food preparation or cleaning food preparation areas.

There are currently no boil water notices for Tauranga.
