You can apply for a partial refund of the dog registration fee (providing the fee was initially paid to Tauranga City Council).
Application must be made in the registration year that your dog has died.
To apply for the refund please complete the deceased dog refund application form (see link below) , and we’ll calculate the number of complete months remaining after the date of notification. We may backdate your application if a veterinary certificate is provided and it is still within the current registration period.
If your dog has passed, but you do not require a refund, you can let us know by updating your details.
