Pursuant to section 54 (1)(d) of the Reserves Act 1977 the Tauranga City Council proposes to grant a lease for the land on Coronation Park, 10 Salisbury Avenue Mt Maunganui to Own Firm Limited known as Spongedrop Cakery for a term of 5 years to 30 October 2025. The proposed lease requires the land to be used for the purposes of boutique cakery (café) including small café offering cakes, coffee and tea and associated retail activities.
The land is comprised of approximately 105m2 and is located on part of Coronation Park, which is registered under certificate of title SA44C/847 and described as Section 2 SO 57326. The land is owned and administered by the Tauranga City Council as a Recreation Reserve under the Reserves Act 1977.
