The purpose of this Practice Note is to assist ratepayers, land and building owners and their professional advisors, and Tauranga City Council staff, with developments occurring on land that is subject to the Flood Hazard Plan Area (‘FHPA’) overlay, as defined within the Tauranga City Plan.
Council received an application for an office activity in the Suburban Residential Zone. This application was processed on a non-notified basis and was sent for review by Commissioner Greg Hill.
